One of the greatest challenges for our future is the efficient, environmentally compatible and safe provision of energy - above all heat and electricity - for households, industry, commerce and mobility.
The most important changes in our energy supply consist of replacing fossil fuels with more and more renewable energy sources, increasing the efficiency of energy generation and use, and decentralizing energy systems.
The bachelor's degree program "Energy and Environmental Engineering" enables you to actively contribute to the solution of this task.
The subject-specific training during the bachelor's program offers students an application-oriented mix. Consisting of theoretical and practical knowledge for the analysis, evaluation and improvement of energy technology processes and knowledge for all important areas of energy and environmental technology. During the studies, in addition to lectures and seminars, a diverse, training-oriented and industry-oriented laboratory technology is used in the numerous practical courses for the independent execution of experiments.
In the KIA variant (cooperative studies with integrated training), the bachelor's program is very well suited for future students who want to combine theory and practice. In addition to theoretical specialist knowledge, you will also acquire practical training and at the end of your studies you will not only receive a bachelor's degree, but also a skilled worker's certificate.
