The team, consisting of two Czech students, worked on an app for digital agriculture - and developed AGRION, a comprehensive system for modern farmers. The app combines photovoltaics, electric tractors and intelligent crop planning on a single platform. AGRION works in German, Polish and Czech - because good agricultural technology should not stop at national borders. The aim is to make agriculture more efficient, sustainable and economical. Fuel costs currently account for around 30% of expenditure in agriculture - this is precisely where AGRION comes in. Five interlinked modules ensure intelligent energy management, precise deployment planning and data-based decisions. A central dashboard bundles all functions in a user-friendly interface that has been specially developed for farmers. The system analyzes weather data, forecasts energy yields and provides specific recommendations for action. This enables farmers not only to reduce their operating costs, but also to feed in surplus energy and generate additional income. AGRION shows how digital solutions can actively shape the agriculture of the future.
