Machine laboratory

  • 1 What is the machine lab?

The aim of the machine laboratory is the electrical measurement of mechanical variables and their acquisition, display and processing. How can force, torque, strain, pressure, power, speed, level, flow, acceleration, velocity, displacement, temperatures and viscosities be measured reliably and reproducibly?

  • 2 What is taught in the internship?

Application, selection and use of sensors and measurement technology for obtaining values.
Understanding the relationships between material properties and stresses.

  • 3. how does the internship fit in with the degree course?

All mechanical engineering students of the faculty; subject machine elements and machine investigations.

  • 4 How does the internship work?

Initial test, questions on the subject of theoretical principles, selection and connection of the measuring equipment, carrying out the test, discussion of the results, possible errors, comparison with calculated values, logging with graphical evaluation.

  • 5. what special equipment does the laboratory have?

Large selection of sensors, rheometers, technical endoscopes, transmission test bench, sound measuring station, machine foundation.

  • 6 How can I register?
