The last few years have shown that joint research and young talent development programs are a win-win situation for students, business partners and the university. That is why we will continue to rely on tried and tested cooperation formats in the future, as well as new project ideas. To ensure that research results are transferred into optimized production and product lines or that new research impulses from industry can find their way into the university curriculum, we would like to present to you on the following pages the wide range of services and collaborations offered by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
The aim of our joint exchange is to meet on a professional and personal level in order to overcome mutual hurdles in establishing contacts and to strengthen the Upper Lusatia region as a research, business and study location.

Research and development projects
Our range of services for companies includes all options for joint research and development projects. Each specialist area presents its main areas of research and possible research topics. We will come to your company or invite you to our next workshop meeting.
Dual study program
The Cooperative Study Program with Integrated Training (KIA) offers you the opportunity to retain highly qualified specialists in your company at an early stage. More than 1,200 KIA graduates from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences speak for the success of this training model. Become a KIA partner!
