The CAD pool is a teaching and workroom where students learn how to use and work with 3-dimensional CAD software.

A three-dimensional CAD system "NX" is taught in conjunction with the "Teamcenter" database.

The laboratory is available to students during their training and for working on assignments during their studies (e.g. vouchers, theses).

The subject matter is taught in 4 practical lectures (approx. every 4 weeks in the semester) with the support of a practical workbook. In the weeks between the practical lectures, exercises are created that must be submitted.

There is a PC pool with 16 student workstations.

After successful instruction, the student is activated for the software as well as for the PC rooms of Faculty M.
