On the Bachelor's degree program in Energy and Environmental Engineering, you are not an anonymous student. Our lecturers are always keen to bring you a step closer to your personal academic success. In small groups, you will learn to find innovative and environmentally friendly solutions for the current and future challenges of energy technology and regularly implement your ideas in laboratory practicals and company projects. With our interdisciplinary teaching and learning program, we combine key areas from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and physics and train you to become a sought-after expert in energy technology and economics.
We believe that energy and environmental specialists should not only meet energy technology challenges with technical excellence, but must also be aware of their responsibility towards society and the environment. Technically sound solutions must always take into account the needs of people, animals and nature. This awareness is part of our curriculum at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and an important principle for the education of our successful graduates. This is evidenced by a placement rate of 100 percent after graduation, of which we can be justifiably proud.
In our practical projects and the KIA study model, we work closely with regional and international companies. This creates contacts between students and future employers at an early stage. A special opportunity to start your career is offered by the practical preparation of your Bachelor's thesis in a company of your choice. We are of course always on hand to help you find a suitable practice partner.
In addition, studying in the border triangle enables international experience as well as contact with international students.
